Owner/ Lead Therapist
Jettana Okoye, LCSW is the founder and CEO of J. Okoye Wellness. Leading with compassion, Jettana serves her clients by blending seamlessly psychotherapist principles with integrative health solutions to promote a well-rounded wellness program.
After receiving her Bachelor's degree at Western Carolina University and Masters degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Social Work, she wanted to round out her holistic expertise with an integrated life and health coaching certification through Duke Integrative Medicine. In order to culminate her experience and education, Jettana decided to build her own practice from the ground up.
When she founded J. Okoye Wellness, her goal was simple. Help the trailblazing individuals that carry the weight of the world by providing them with clear self-care strategies, a safe space to dream and create, and produce individualized actionable steps to reach their own pinnacle of success.
Her passion has evolved over the years to continue the fight to end the stigma of mental health within minority communities. She offers a safe and honest place to discuss the importance of mental and holistic health. Her goal is to create a lasting positive impact on individuals and their communities. She continues to work towards this goal through one-on-one therapy, speaking engagements, workshops, community collaboration and individual, group, and corporate coaching.
When she’s not serving her clients and running her business, you can find Jettana zip lining down a mountain with friends, spending time with her husband, daughters, and family, or traveling to explore a new place in the world.

Are you parenting child(ren) of a different racial and/or cultural background?
We will help you explore how to find a supportive, aware, and inclusive community of the child’s racial culture. We provide a safe space for candid dialogue around the stressors parents have as advocates against discrimination.
We also dive into the impact of your family dynamics, connect you with resources, and explore fears around this unique parenting challenge.
